Sprint HTC EVO Smartphone Google Android

The much awaited Sprint HTC EVO 4G will hit the market this Friday, June 4th. Sprint is offering the 4G phone for just $199.99 after a $100 rebate.

ASUS jumps into the tablet market with its Eee Pad. Asus will be launching the tablet in July. It will come in two different models, the 10-inch EP101TC and the 12-inch EP121l.

The device is planned to run Windows 7, have Intel Core 2 Duo CULV chips, feature a webcam for conferencing, and have Flash capabilities. The price will be around $500.

Google gave its search page a new look. Many Googlers are skeptical about the left sidebar. It looks very similar to bing and yahoo search pages.

I like the search results going all the way to the left for easy scanning. It’s sort of sad to see the familiar Google search page go.

I like the new logo without the shadow though.

The MacBook lineup went for nine months without an upgrade. Now last Tuesday Apple revealed their new lineup of MacBook Pros. They carried over the same design from the last model but packed the new models with Intel processor and NVIDIA graphic power.

The iPad is now for sale. Although the product got mixed reviews over 100,000 people were rumored to pre-order the device. I think Apple has potential to make bushels of money from the iPad. Yes, it may not have a camera, flash, usb, etc, but if they sold this well on the 1st generation think of what they could sell on a souped up 2nd generation iPad.

I personally would find no use for an iPad as I have a laptop and iPod nano. I am interested in tablet computers though, and would love to hear why you got (or didn’t) get one. Leave a comment below.
